ELX Forum 2024 Sets New Record for Attendance and Innovation at IMEX America in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, October 17, 2024 – The Event Leaders Exchange (ELX) community celebrated a milestone at this year’s ELX Forum, setting a new attendance record and bringing together more senior corporate event leaders than ever before. Held in the vibrant city of Las Vegas at IMEX America, this year's forum was a hub of innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking strategies that aim to shape the future of the corporate events industry.
Addressing the Measurement Challenge Head-On
The ELX Forum focuses on tackling the most critical challenges facing the events industry, this year with a special emphasis on measurement—with data showing event measurement as a top priority for 82% of ELX members in 2024. ELX crafted content and workshops specifically designed to address both individual and enterprise-wide measurement challenges. The session delved into best practices for gathering and analyzing data, offering practical tools for leaders to better quantify the value of their events.
Delivered by Founder and CEO of Explori, Mark Brewster, and ELX CEO Nicola Kastner, this session delved into new trends and practical techniques to help leaders quantify the success of their events—an area of critical importance as companies face tighter budgets and heightened expectations for ROI. The session provided members with concrete strategies on data collection, metrics that resonate with senior leadership, and ways to showcase the impact of events in relation to overall business goals.
A Day of Insight and Innovation
One of the day’s highlights was the opening session, “Managing Stakeholder Expectations in the Era of Doing More for Less,” featuring insights from Nicola Kastner, ELX CEO, and Carolyn B. Pund, CMM DES. The session focused on practical strategies for managing the increasing demands of stakeholders amid tighter budgets—a challenge that resonated with many attendees across industries.
The event also featured a dynamic Team Harmony Workshop with Song Division’s John Lombardo, showcasing the power of music to foster team unity and inspire creativity.
